some great ideas or help with what you need. Don't bring your machine as this is lecture only, but do bring a pad and pen to jot down notes that you can refer to later.

Pinky Puppet
For 50 years now Pinky Puppets are given to children who are admitted to Children’s Hospital. This toy is a gift to help keep children amused and comforted while they are in the hospital as well as to have a new friend when they go home. Last year alone, 5,000 puppets were given away. We need volunteers to help sew the adorable puppets with the clown-like face and happy smile. Join us at Barnes Sewing Center for a little while, or all day. If you can’t stay to sew, pick up Pinky Packetts to sew at home. Bring your sewing machine along with you. Lunch and friendship provided.

Since its inception in 1995, 2,293,340 blankets have been distributed by 406 chapters.
